MISSION

Using actors for OSCE, Simulation and Role Play has become an integral tool both internationally and here in New Zealand. Our mission is to provide the best in the country, through training guidance, support and excellence.

FUNCTION

There is a long standing tradition of using workplace colleagues and friends as the "guinea pigs", for training, simulation or communication exercises. This is often met with moans and groans from employees, nobody wants to be the guinea pig.

Here is where we come in, we actually do! Acting out have expertly trained actors, who are not only excellent at being the guinea pig, but enjoy it! Allow your staff and/or students to be who they are and let us start 'Acting out', for you!

Amalia Calder runs Acting Out - Professional Performers.

With over 23 years as professional performer and over 20 years teaching role play and simulated work, Amalia is a leader in her field.

She believes working with actors is a specific and wonderful way to enhance communication and education.

Having a loyal, experienced and talented team is top of her priority list. Her actors have been quoted by Professor Lambert Schuwirth from Flinders University in Australia as "World class".
