Actor coordination
Amalia Calder has worked for many agencies, organisations and institutions in New Zealand. She is considered world class in her feild with the ability to work with actors in OSCEs, Simulation and Role Play. She provides highly engaged, trained professionals to your company or organisation.
Actor Training
Training actors for this work is key. Not any actor can do this type of work to the high standards required. Amalia works closely with actors on both a professional and personal level to ensure that they have full understanding of their roles and reach optimum potential.
Payroll services
We will talk with you, the client and provide everything you need, without causing you the hassle of dealing with multiple contracts or pay claims. We will discuss a fee with you and then we pay the actors directly.
OSCE advisory
An objective structured clinical examination (OSCE) is a modern type of examination often used in health sciences. We can help you develop the foundations for a new OSCE for your organisation or contribute to enhancing your existing practices. OSCE's are used throughout the world and are a trusted and accurate way of providing actor assisted exams.
Role Play
Role-play is a technique that allows novices through to professionals to explore realistic situations by interacting with trained actors in a managed way. The idea is to develop experience and trial or test different strategies in a supported environment. The actors make decisions or choices in-character, allowing the participants to be themselves and examine a situation, by using their skill set to decide how the would behave in given circumstances. The participants would then be given constructive, helpful feedback to enhance their communication and actions.
Emergency simulation services
Emergency simulation and role play are some of the most demanding to achieve. It is imperative that the emergency service professionals are given the opportunity to practice their training in a safe and supportive environment. At Acting out, we provide this.
